01 — Why a humanoid
Our world was built around two hands, two feet and eye-level shelves. Instead of rebuilding every warehouse, kitchen and workshop for machines, we built a machine for the world as it is.

02 — The machine
Select a hotspot or a system to open its readout. Every component is designed, assembled and tested in-house.
Eight synchronized cameras and two depth sensors build a live 3D map of the room, while pressure-sensitive fingertips report grip force a hundred times a second — enough to hold an egg or a power drill with the same hand.

05 — Deployment
Optimus moves between racks, conveyors and carts built for people. It picks mixed SKUs, builds pallets and handles returns — and hands exceptions to a human supervisor.
Load CNC machines, kit parts, drive screws and run visual inspection at stations designed for human operators. Move Optimus to a new cell in an afternoon.
Full low-level joint access, a ROS 2 bridge, a Python SDK and a simulation twin that matches the hardware — so your policies transfer from sim to real without surprises.

First business and research deliveries are planned for 2027, in reservation order and region by region. We'll give you an estimated delivery window when we confirm your reservation, and update you if it changes.
Optimus Gen 3 uses force- and speed-limited joints, 360° person detection, a physical emergency stop and a wireless stop. It is designed for collaborative operation, and every deployment includes a site risk assessment before go-live.
No. Perception, planning and control run on the robot. A connection is only needed for software updates, fleet dashboards and optional skill sharing — which you can turn off.
Video is processed on-device by default and is not uploaded. You can choose to share anonymized clips to improve skills. Home assist units have physical privacy shutters on every camera.
Demonstrate the task once while wearing the tracking gloves, or guide the robot's hands directly. Optimus practices in simulation and asks for confirmation before running the new skill on the floor.
Batteries, hands and feet are modular and field-replaceable. Lab units include a 12-month warranty; Work and Fleet units include 36 months with advance replacement.
